Injectable Treatments

Botulinum Toxin (Botox)

Botox Cosmetic and Dysport serve as effective solutions for addressing fine lines, wrinkles, and deep facial furrows, such as crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines, and frown lines. Procedures typically last 10 – 15 minutes, allowing a swift return to daily activities. Our staff prioritizes your health and safety while delivering quality service and results.

Both Botox and Dysport, when injected into muscles, reduce wrinkles resulting from muscle movement. Dosing is strategically determined based on your muscle mass and strength in the targeted area. Beyond their primary uses, Botox and Dysport have various off-label applications, including treating neckbands, chin dimples, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and jawline slimming.

Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are a type of dermal filler used in cosmetic and medical aesthetics to restore volume, smooth out wrinkles, and enhance facial features. They’re made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps retain moisture and keep skin plump and hydrated.

How HA Fillers Work

Hyaluronic acid has the unique ability to bind and hold water, which adds volume and structure when injected into the skin. When used as a filler, it can:

  • Smooth out fine lines and wrinkles (like nasolabial folds)
  • Plump lips
  • Restore volume to cheeks and under-eye hollows
  • Contour the jawline or chin
  • Rejuvenate hands or other areas with volume loss

Each brand has different formulations suited for specific areas and depths of injection.

Benefits

  • Immediate results
  • Minimally invasive
  • Reversible (can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed)
  • Biocompatible and generally well-tolerated

Duration

Results typically last 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of filler used, the treatment area, and individual metabolism.

If you’re curious about its medical applications, HA fillers are also used in some non-cosmetic treatments, like joint injections for arthritis to lubricate and cushion joints.

PRP/PRF

PRP and PRF are both cutting-edge, regenerative treatments that use your body’s own blood to stimulate healing, rejuvenation, and tissue repair. They’re popular in aesthetics, orthopedics, and hair restoration—but while they sound similar, they have some key differences.

PRP - Platelet-Rich Plasma

What it is

PRP is made by drawing a small amount of your blood, then spinning it in a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma. Platelets contain growth factors and healing proteins that stimulate cell regeneration.

Uses

  • Skin rejuvenation (reducing fine lines, acne scars, improving texture)
  • Hair restoration (stimulates hair follicles)
  • Joint/tendon healing (in sports medicine)
  • Often combined with microneedling (a.k.a. the “vampire facial”)

How it works

  • Blood is spun to separate plasma with a high concentration of platelets
  • It’s injected or applied topically to targeted areas

Pros

  • Minimally invasive
  • Natural (from your own blood)

PRF – Platelet-Rich Fibrin

What it is

PRF is the next generation of PRP, with a more natural and slower-release approach. It’s spun at a lower speed, so it keeps more white blood cells, stem cells, and fibrin—a protein that forms a matrix to support healing.

Key differences from PRP

  • No anticoagulants or additives
  • Slower release of growth factors (over 7–10 days vs. PRP’s ~24 hours)

Uses

  • Same as PRP (skin, hair, healing), but with longer-lasting regenerative benefits
  • Can be used as a natural alternative to fillers (for tear troughs, volume loss)

Pros

  • 100% natural (no additives)
  • Longer, sustained healing effect

Deoxycholic Acid

What is Deoxycholic Acid?

Deoxycholic acid is a bile acid naturally produced by your body to help break down and absorb dietary fat. In its synthetic form, it’s used in aesthetic medicine to destroy fat cells in targeted areas when injected directly into the fat layer.

How It Works

  • When injected, it disrupts the fat cell membrane, causing the cell to break apart.
  • The destroyed fat cells are then naturally eliminated by the body over the following weeks.
  • Once fat cells are destroyed, they don’t regenerate, making results long-lasting with proper weight maintenance.

Common Uses

  • Submental fullness (double chin)
  • Off-label: small pockets of stubborn fat (like jowls, bra bulge, lower abdomen), but these uses should be done by experienced providers.
